摘要

Configuration simulations of ferrofluids subjected to a magnetic field have been carried out by some researchcrs [1-4], where a model of interaction among single particles has been adopted and two-dimensional configuration simulations completed. However, a configuration with thick chains, even microseopically visible chains of the order of 0.9 * 10~(-4) cm in width [5], can be observed experimcntally in a forrolluid. The diameter of a typical particle is lOnni, which is too small for one single particle to form such a microscopically visible thick chain.
