摘要

We study single electron transport through three parallel channels driven by surface acoustic waves. In the experiments, the quantized current plateaux are observed in the middle gate. We open up the exit channel and vary the entrance gate voltage in the state of conductance pinched-off, and then vice versa. It is found that there are different influences of changing the entrance or exit gate voltage on the quantized current. The change of the electron reservoir's chemical potential is considered as the physical origin of this difference. Based on this design structure, a new way of improving the precision of the quantized current is proposed.
