We examine the problem of the accuracy of the crank-slider mechanism with clearances in the kinematic pairs and determine the position, velocity, and acceleration errors of the mechanism. We identify the nature of the movement of the contact point of the crank-slider pair and establish the zones in which separations in the kinematic pair may take place and impactive phenomena may start.
