Interfacial tunnel-type GMR in granular perovskite La-Sr-Mn-O system

摘要

The magnetic transport properties in granularperovskite system La1-xSrxMnO3 have been investigated. Thespin-dependent interfacial tunneling and the correspondinggiant magnetoresistance(GMR) effect have been observed inthe whole region of temperature below the Curie point Tc forthe samples with concentration x from 0.05 to 0.45.Theoretical analysis shows that the interfacial tunnelingoriginates from the difference in magnetism between thegrain surfaces and the cores, and the tunnel-type GMR stemsfrom the field-induced change of interfacial magnetic order.
