摘要

Magnesium nitride (Mg3N2) was synthesized by thereaction of magnesium in the highly reactive form (Mg*) withnitrogen at 450℃under normal pressure. The effect of doping withnickel dichloride on the nitridation of Mg* was investigated.Differential thermal analysis (DTA) of Mg* systems andtransmission electron microscopy(TEM) measurement of theproduct formed were carried out . TEM measurement showed thatthe particle size of the Mg3N2 synthesized was in the nanometricrange. The dependence of nitridation of the NiCl2-doped Mg* ontemperature was investigated at temperatures ranging from 300 to500℃ .The nitridation of NiCl2-doped Mg* could occur even attemperature as low as 300℃.
