摘要

In this paper the results of investigations of the manufacturing and properties of bearing materials produced by the recycling of aluminium and aluminium-bronze chips are presented. Bearing composites were produced by the cold compaction and hot extrusion (at 520 deg C) of comminuted and mixed aluminium and aluminium-bronze chips. The wear and the coefficient of friction of the composites produced were determined as a function of the percentage of the reinforcing phase (aluminium-bronze granulated chips) and the load applied by means of a pin-on-disc wear testing machine.
