摘要

This paper is an account of a detailed examination of the reaction by which silver can be reduced from silver hydroxide slurry by hydrogen at elevated pressures and temperatures. The thermodynamics of the reactions are discussed and the behavior of the pH value, reduction temperature, hydrogen partial pressure, initial silver concentration, and stirring speed are illustrated, The size and morphology of the silver particles were observed by SEM and optimum synthesizing conditions are proposed.
