Strike at La Jagua mine passes the 60 day mark

The labor strike at Prodeco's La Jagua mining complex has passed the 60-day mark. Under Colombian law, when a strike continues past two months, it is sent to a government appointed arbitration panel to be resolved. La Jagua produces premium quality thermal and PCI coal. Due to the sluggish global thermal coal market, the strike hasn't put a big squeeze on Prodeco's ability to deliver export cargoes to its customers.
