More U.S. western coal is finding its way into the Asian market

An official at BNSF Railway said the company expects to haul about 5.0 million tonnes of western U.S. coal to Westshore Terminals this year, where it will be exported to the Asian market. The figure is up considerably from last year's total of 1.7 million tonnes. Most of the coal that BNSF will transport will originate from mines in Montana and Wyoming.
