U.S. thermal coal exports begin to gain traction

Everyone is aware that 2010 is a "met coal" year, but U.S. exporters are pushing the ticket on thermal coal as well. In July, U.S. thermal coal exports reached 2.54 million tonnes, marking the highest level since late 2008, according to data released by the U.S. International Trade Commission.
