The Introduction Necessity of Direct Payment into Forestry under the WTO System

The purpose of research is to examine direct payment been coming in agriculture under WTO, and to suggest introduction necessity of that in forestry. As a result, direct payment in agriculture is magnified rapidly laying stress on developed country,and also our country has been enforcing that in agriculture since 1997. Under the wicked management status of forestry in Korea, for propelling sustainable forest management and income compensation to nonproductive forest land, it is needed to introducedirect payment in forestry.
