Ternium agrees to a price for its stake in Sidor

Ternium SA has agreed to sell its 59.7 percent interest in Sidor to the Venezu elan government for US$1.97 billion. Venezolana de Guayana (CVG), a government holding company formed to oversee the sale, paid Ternium US$400 million in cash immediately. The remainder will be paid in two sepa rate installments.
