JOY ROLLS OUT A NEW BATTERY-POWERED HAULER

The "innovative design" of Stamler's new Battery Hauler Alternate Current (BHAC) with its patented electronics is setting a new pace in underground haulage. According to Joy, the BHAC system was engineered to run parallel with the development of the Stamler direct current (DC) Lionetics drive, allowing the company to offer the mining industry two premier state-of-the-art systems. Development goals of the BHAC, fine-tuned since its introduction and application underground, are extended battery life, high motor efficiency, ease of maintenance using brushless alternate current (AC) motors, enhanced variable frequency drive (VFD) controls, and cutting-edge diagnostics and data acquisition.
