In Chile, E-CL's 150-megawatt Central Termoelectrica Andina (CTA) coal-fired power plant will be commissioned in October.CTA will primarily supply power to mining and industrial companies in Chile's northern interconnected SING system. Total investment in the plant, which is equipped with a fluidized bed system and state-of-the-art technology, is US$496 million.
