U.S. met coal exports continue upward swing

In January through August of this year, the U.S. exported 19.1 million tonnes of metallurgical coal, according to data released by the U.S. Census Bureau. This figure is up by 2.89 million tonnes (17.8 percent) compared to the same period in 2006.
