Coalcorp Mining has the funds in place to complete the acquisition of Colombian assets,which will include the La Francis and La Caypa high quality steam coal mines,a port facility in Cartagena and an application for a 90 percent interest in the La Curubita met coal exploration project."We are very pleased to be able to complete these acquisitions and raise sufficient funds to aggressively pursue our strategy for development of a significant new integrated coal business in Colombia," Serafino lacono,CEO of the company said.
