Glencore to boost Colombian production to 20.7 MMt/y by 2015

Glencore plans to boost its Colombian coal output to 20.7 million tonnes/year by 2015, according to a prospectus the company issued in advance of its US$11 billion IPO later this month. Cost of the expansion project, which includes Glencore's share of the construction of a new multi-user coal port, is expected to tally in at US$2.6 billion.
