Addressing a cure based upon cellular repatriation may be achieved by one of two ways or a combination thereof. Diseased tissue may influenced to revert back to a functional, predisease onset state, or novel tissue may be grown from an embryonic precursor and integrated back into the patient.Novel tissues may be grown by generating a replicating culture from either embryonic stem cells or through induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSs). Both methods have their drawbacks, however.
