London plans to complete first phase construction on new coke batteries

London Mining will complete the first phase of construction in Q3 on its new met coke batteries in Colombia's Boyaca department. The timeline for the project was pushed back a few months due to heavy rain and flooding, which London said "required significant remedial drainage and some limited design." Initially London will produce 200,000 tonnes/year of met coke at the site, and expects to achieve full output capacity by Q1 of 2012. Eventually London plans to double production to 400,000 tonnes/year.
