Peabody makes arrangement to ship Powder River Basin coal through the west coast

Peabody Energy said that SSA Marine will allow Peabody to ship 24 million tonnes/year of its Powder River Basin coal out of the Gateway Pacific Terminal in northwestern Washington state. The proposed terminal, which will be a part of the existing Cherry Point terminal, is in the permitting stages of construction.
