The president of Cerrejon Coal,Mr.Alberto Calderon,has been appointed by BHP Billiton as president of its Diamonds and Speciality Products division.In his new position,Calderon will be based in London,Calderon has been president of Cerrejon Coal,in which BHP Billiton owns a 33 percent share,since July 2002.He has a PhD in economics from Yale University.
