Venezuelan coal exports are robust in September

Venezuelan coal producers exported 760,000 tonnes of coal in September, making it one of the best reporting months in 2007. On a year-to-date basis through September, Venezuelan exports total 6.2 million tonnes, up from last year's level of 5.9 million tonnes. Car-bones del Guasare is the largest exporter, with a year-to-date figure of 4.6 million tonnes.
