摘要

Physical, mechanical and tribological properties of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) have been studied after treatment in supercritical carbon dioxide at different temperatures. It is shown that exposure to supercritical carbon dioxide alters the physical-mechanical properties, the surface layer morphology and improves the triboengineering characteristics.
