摘要

The possibility and prospects of using a silicate-polymer system, such as water glass -polyvinyl alcohol, was studied as a base of water-soluble coolant lubricant for grinding of metals. The results of studies of the component selection for the coolant lubricant and determination of their tribological and physical-chemical characteristics were presented.
