摘要

The paper presents the results of DTA-studies of thermooxidative degradation of car-bochain (LPPE, PP, PVB) and heterochain (PFT, FDC, PEFT, FFP, EDMA) polymers and their wear debris appearing at friction in water against the alloyed chrome-manganese steel 60XΓ. It was shown that the polymer wear debris features intensified thermooxidative activity that manifests itself by a considerable reduction of the temperature of thermal degradation and appearance of exothermal effects when the wear debris accumulates the products of polymer reaction with water and metal surface. It was established that the chemical structure of the polymer strongly influences the corrosion wear of the steel during friction in water. It was shown that polymers with macromolecules containing in their structure ether groups ensure the minimal corrosion wear of the steel counterbody.
