The equations for temperature on a moving contact spot are written in the non-dimensional form. The steady average contact temperatures and the time taken to attain them are obtained as functions of velocity of travel beginning from zero velocity. The functions were approximated. Formulas for coefficients of steady heat flows at rolling with sliding were derived for all ranges of velocities. Time-dependent contact spot temperatures were found.
