摘要

The effect of hydrogen pickup (0.10-0.65 % of mass) of BT35 β-titanium alloy on the wear resistance and friction coefficient was studied under sliding friction without lubrication when loading is applied with a hard-alloy indentor in similar couples as well as during abrasive wear. The positive effect of hydrogen on the wear resistance of the alloy was established. The effect of oxidizing (air) and neutral (argon) atmosphere on the tribological properties and strain hardening of the alloy in sliding friction is considered.
