Nonlinear effects of viscous grease on a radial sliding bearing journal with optimal profile of supporting surface

The problem of improving the bearing load-carrying capacity is solved by increasing the volume of lubricant in clearance and expanding the region of elevated hydrodynamic pressure. The bearing with a quasi-circular contour of supporting surface was studied. The effect of nonlinear terms and plasticity parameters on the load-carrying capacity of the bearing was estimated.
