Relationship Between the Phenomena of Self-Organization and Wearlessness in Friction

摘要

Mathematical models are discussed of the processes evolving in friction during wear by delamination and selective transfer. These types of models are compared and it is analyzed if any possibility exists of relation with the phenomenon of self-organization. It is proposed how to formulate the necessary and sufficient conditions for wearlessness by analyzing the process of self-organization in selective transfer.
