Non-Linear Contact Wear Problem for Winkler's Base

摘要

The contact wear problem is analyzed for the Winkler foundation in case of the non-linear dependence of the wear rate on the contact pressure and the expanding contact region. An algorithm is proposed how to solve the exactly problem using reiterative approximations. An approach is described that enables to identify and explain the features of wear kinetics.
