摘要

The effect of ultrasonic vibrations on the mechanical and tribological properties of polytetrafluoroethylene-based composites is discussed. It is shown that application of vibrations to a workpiece being compressed boosts the ultimate strength and the modulus of elasticity reducing the material wear rate.
