摘要

Anti-wear and anti-scoring behavior of organic chemical compounds of various classes has been studied experimentally when they are used as multicomponent additives to lubricating oils. Mechanisms of the effect of the additives are described for each class and their specific features are outlined. The mechanism of chemical modification of friction surfaces by these compounds results from the presence of a cyclic fragment in the molecule and the activity of halogen atoms located both in the cycle and in aliphatic fragments of the molecule of an additive in different combinations.
