摘要

We present the test results of the effect of preliminary hot and warm rolling on the wear resistance of high-strength cast iron containing different number of graphite particles. Deformed cast iron is shown to reveal anisotropy of its wear characteristics in dry sliding friction. Maximal wear is observed in the rolling plane while minimal is observed in the cross section of the rolling plane when the counterbody rotates normally to the elongated graphite particles. Increasing the number of inclusions from 10{sup}3 to 10{sup}5 mm{sup}3 makes possible decreasing the cast iron wear resistance. Anisotropy of wear is related to the influence of graphite shape on the removal of wear products, thermal conductivity, and friction conditions
