MODELING OF VARIATOR WEAR WITH CONSIDERATION OF CONTROL FUNCTION

摘要

Results of mathematical modeling and frequency investigation of mechanical characteristics of a system, which transfers rotational motion using a variator, are presented. It was found that high-frequency oscillations of friction contact failure and deterioration in wear resistance could occur under certain ratios between the moments of inertia of the driving and driven shafts as well as under a certain pressure on frictional wheels.
