摘要

The study covers the tribological behavior and strain-hardening of hardened untempered and tempered at 200℃ tool steels of both carbon (0.38-1.35% C) and those additionally alloyed with 1.2-2.0% of V, Mo, Mn, Si and Cr as well as steel y8 tempered at 100-600℃. Tests were made in contact with a hard-alloy indenter in different environments (air, gaseous and liquid nitrogen). The strength of the ultradispersed structures formed at sliding on the surfaces of the above materials are analyzed.
