摘要

Elastohydrodynamic oil film thickness is measured at flooded point contact by optical interferometry. The experimental results are used to investigate the influence of dimensionless parameters of velocity, load, and materials on the dimensionless thickness of the film at the contact center. A differentiated approach is suggested for the determination of the film thickness on the basis of rheological properties of oils.
