The Canadian and Australian dollars are close to reaching parity with the U.S. dollar. "We expect the Canadian dollar to reach parity with the U.S. dollar in a matter of days and then become stronger," a Canadian coal official said. "Analysts tell us this is a trend that could continue throughout 2010."
