The blockade of truck transported coal shipments on the Colombian/Venezuelan border has eased in recent days,sources tell Coal Americas.However,the situation in Venezuela remains unsettled."There has been a considerable amount of tension between Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Colombian President Aivaro Uribe as well as a great deal of political unrest in Venezuela that has been feeding the coal transportation blockade," a U.S.embassy official told Coal Americas.
