Flexible hose handler for drill rigs

European and Australian Advanced Chain Technologies Ltd (ACT) has patented, designed and manufactured a complete moulded hydraulic hose protection solution for all drilling and bolting rigs, initially for underground continuous miner roof and rib bolting rigs, but also for drill rigs and exploration bore hole drilling. The Miner Scorpion has been created from the company's longwall Scorpion Twin and Tri Pull cable and hose handlers.ACT designs and manufactures in-house the Scorpion longwall mining cable handler and has recently produced a smaller version of the Scorpion Twin Pull to offer a protection system for the smaller hoses and cables which can be applied to all forms of drilling and bolting rigs.
