CEE Dust Extraction for Desulphurisation Project

Carter Environmental Engineers (CEE) recently supplied dust extraction equipment for use in a major flue gas desulphurisation project at a coal-fired power station in Lincolnshire, in the UK, The equipment was specified by Amco-Birtley, one of the main sub-contractors on the project, responsible for design of a system to handle limestone for use in the desulphurisation process. After delivery the limestone is pulverised and used in a water spray to remove sulphur from flue gases. The resulting sludge is then reprocessed for use in the manufacture of plasterboard products.
