Maternal perception of breastfeeding challenges after cesarean delivery

International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are well aware of the breastfeeding challenges experienced by some women who give birth by cesarean delivery. What can be done to help overcome, or possibly prevent, some of these challenges? The authors of this month's featured article have conducted an in-depth analysis of the breastfeeding experiences of women after cesarean birth. They have identified some key findings that may be useful in your setting as you seek to anticipate and manage some of these early difficulties.
