Walter Industries' Jim Walter Resources and Sloss business reported combined revenues of 218.8 million US dollars for the third quarter and operating income for the quarter of 56.9 million US dollars. Due to increased metallurgical coal sales and higher overall pricing for the coal, JWR and Sloss reported revenues of 184.4 million US dollars, up by 77.6 million US dollars over the same period in 2005.
