BHP Billiton is said to be interested in acquiring Walter Energy. It's the latest mention in a number of possible suitors for the Alabama-based coal producer. "I'm sure that BHP Billiton would love to acquire Walter Energy, but so would the other companies, like Anglo, that have rumored to be eyeing Walter. I don't put much stock in the rumors," a source told Coal Americas.
