Western Canadian Coal: Third quarter loss due to lower PCI prices; Betting that Wolverine hard met coal will save the day

Western Canadian Coal (WCC) posted an operating profit of 0.6 million Canada dollars for the third quarter based on sales of 10.7 million Canada dollars. Coal sales consisted of 142,000 tonnes of PCI coal, which was shipped at an average price of 67.50 US dollars/tonne FOB.
