SANDVIK INTRODUCES UPDATED LINE OF UNDERGROUND LOADERS

Sandvik Mining and Construction announced the introduction of significant upgrades to their already successful line of underground loaders. The new Sandvik LH series, which replaces the popular Toro and EJC brands, will incorporate a host of reliability and durability updates, as well as improved safety, serviceability, and operator comfort features. The LH units will enable larger underground mines to maximize uptime and, thus, productivity by delivering improved reliability on key systems--notably, electrics and hydraulics. By so doing, LHD operators will enjoy even greater levels of productivity and profitability. The LH series updates address multiple key points: Electric Control System: onboard diagnostics and troubleshooting for reduced downtime based on CANbus technology, as well as simplified user interface with an interactive display; Advanced Electrical System: wiring harnesses with Deutsch DT connectors for increased reliability and ease of service; Redesigned Operator Cabin: easier access, improved visibility, efficient air conditioning, and lower noise level.
