Comment on 'A new model for the Paleogene motion of Greenland relative to North America: Plate reconstructions of the Davis Strait and Nares Strait regions between Canada and Greenland' by G. N. Oakey and J. A. Chalmers

While we generally agree with a pre-Cenozoic three-plate reconstruction of the eastern Canadian Arctic and Greenland, in that it closely resembles the three-plate reconstruction we presented in Denyszyn et al. [2009a], we would like to comment on the authors' location of the plate boundary between Greenland and North America within Ellesmere Island (see Figure 1).
