In the paper “Modeling the growth of laccoliths and large mafic sills: Role of magma body forces” by Andrew P. Bunger and Alexander R. Cruden (Journal of Geophysical Research, 116, B02203, doi:10.1029/2010JB007648), the two sentences preceding equation (14) should be replaced with: “Finally, equation (10) shows that the quantity p1 is appropriately interpreted as the fluid pressure at z = 0. Hence, p1 = p + so + rm gw, where p is the net pressure and so is the overburden‐induced stress. Substitution into equation (13) yields.”
