3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) and poly(3,4- ethylenedioxythiophene)s have received tremendous interests in recent years for their special electrical, electrochemical, and optical properties [1-9]. The combination of an especially low oxidation potential and a relatively low band gap gives EDOT these unique electrochemical and spectroscopic properties not accessible in other building blocks [10].
