Assessment of systolic and diastolic arterial stiffness

We appreciate the interest and comments from Dr Baris Afsar [1] concerning our recent study. He mentioned that total cyst number was correlated with ambulatory blood pressure measurements in his previous study, although neither number nor size of renal cysts was associated with incidence of hypertension in our study [2,3]. In the study, the correlation coefficient between total cyst number and blood pressure parameters ranged between 0.157 and 0.327 in univariate regression analysis [2].
