Localized Airspace Consolidation of Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis Mimicking Malignant Lesions in F-18-FDG PET/CT Imaging One Case Report

Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis is a rare lung disease caused by diffuse, abnormal intra-alveolar surfactant accumulation. Here, we report a case of autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis with heterogeneous accumulation of F-18-FDG in both lungs shown on the combined F-18-FDG PET/CT.
